No sábado à tarde fui dar um pulinho à loja da Paula pois precisava de tecidos para o meu Rail Fence quilt e para o meu Blue Forest Window quilt e, a Ursula também estava lá. Trouxe um log cabin feito em flanela lindísssimo e, a menina Paula, imaginem, deve-lhe ter dado algo pois tinha feito um enorme caleidoscópio todo feito com a chitas de Alcobaça. Estou a ver que tenho que começar a andar com a máquina fotográfica comigo sempre que me desloco para sítios destes! Não tenho nenhuma foto para mostrar mas sempre podem ir ao blog dela. Só tenho a foto do meu Rail Fence com os tecidos que irei colocar na parte de trás.Saturday afternoon I went to Paula's shop because I needed fabrics for may Rail Fence quilt and for my Blue Forest Wndow quilt and, Ursula was there too and she brought a beauuuutiful log cabin in flannel and imagin, Miss paula must have flipped because she made an uge kaleidoscope all with chitas de Alcobaça fabrics. It seems that I have to carry my digital camera whenever I go to these places! Ain't got no picture to show but you can see it on her blog. Only got my rail fence with the fabrics that I will use on the back and binding.
Este quilt, que ainda não tem nome, é para oferecer à minha sogra; tenho tido uns ligeiros problemas com a máquina de costura porque ela não gosta muito de "free quilting"! No proximo PIP vou levá-lo e ver se consigo fazer mais acolchoado livre com uma das Berninas que o sr Mário lá deixou; só tenho duas semanas para o terminar! oh oh!
E o nome, o que é que lhe vou chamar???? Alguma sugestão?
This quilt is to offer to my motherinlaw for her birthday; I've been with some problems with my sewing machine because it doesn't like very much free quilting! Next PIP I will take with me and try to quilt it in a Bernina because I only got two weeks to finish it! Oh Oh!!
Does anyone has a sugestion for the name???
